RESERVED Vintage 70s Courreges White Linen Skirt with Hyperbole Label Size S
This is a wonderful Courreges white linen skirt with the white Courreges embroidered logo appearing at the left side pocket. The skirt is made in an above the knee length. It is lined and made of 100% acetate. It does up with six white metal snaps down the open front, as well as with a hook and eye at the waistband. It has a slight A line to it.
Age: early 1970s
Label: Courreges Paris Hyperbole Made in France with a stamped number of “057444”. Andre Courreges is a legendary Parisian fashion designer, known for his avant garde “space age” design during the 1960s, and his innovative, “fresh” looking designs through the 70s. The Hyperbole line was introduced in 1971, with a focus on sportswear designed for younger clients.
Material: 100% acetate linen
Sizing: Size 00 is indicated, which is a Courreges code for a US size 4/6 - please note the following measurements for fit (your body measurements should be smaller, or measure a similar garment that you own):
Waist: 25” around, inside dimension
Length: 20” long, measured flat
It is in excellent condition with no wear, tear, stains or odors, in fact, this skirt looks like it saw very little use, and was very well cared for over the years.
This is a hard to find piece - timeless Courreges design, very clean and youthful look....
