This is a very nice quality 1960s silk dress featuring horizontal striped color blocks. The dress has a matching blue sharkskin silk long jacket that has a purple undertone. The dress has cap sleeves and pleats down the bodice, The waist is defined with roping and two decorative bows at the front. The skirt is shaped to accentuate the body silhouette, larger at the hips and tapered slightly to the hemline. It is lined in blue rayon acetate and does up the back with a metal zipper. The jacket has a long shawl collar, 3/4 length sleeves and is lined in blue acetate - there are no closures.
