A 70s dress featuring a simple, but striking, form. I do believe this was originally worn as a wedding gown. The dress is made in a sleeveless style, with high V shaped neckline. The dress has an above the knee length in the front with a fishtail hemline at the back. The skirt is cut in such a way that natural pleats are formed - note this in the photos. The fabric has floral appliques, possibly roses, over the entire dress - each flower has a string of seed pearls affixed to it on the bodice only. The dress does up with a metal zipper at the back. The dress is fully lined in satin.
Material: Satin brocade
Sizing: No size is indicated, but it is a smaller size - please rely on the following measurements for fit:
Bust: 34" around, taken at the underarms
Waist: 32" around
Hips: 42" approximate - meant to fall loosely
Overall length: 33" at the front at the center/56" at the back center
It's in very good condition with no wear, tear, or odors. There is a very slight bit of yellowing under the arms. There is one loose pearl, but this is easily fixed. This dress looks like it was well cared for over the years.
This is a great 70s era wedding dress - easy to wear and very stylish.
