The Weller Pottery of Zanesville was one of the most prolific of the Ohio Potteries, creating lines ranging from high-end art ware to functional commercial ware.
Lavonia, a middle period line easily recognized by its pastel matte glaze of pink and turquoise, was produced from the early 1920's until 1928, and can be rather hard to come by today. This lovely Weller Lavonia tapered, hexagonal vase circa 1925 features a gently flared rim and base, with a gorgeous glaze effect of palest pink blending to turquoise.
Condition is excellent, free from chipping, cracking, or restoration, with minor surface marks and production mold flaws present.
Marked at the base with die-impressed "WELLER".
H 8.25", rim 3.25", base 2.75".
