The Weller Pottery of Zanesville was one of the most prolific of the Ohio Potteries, creating lines ranging from high-end art ware to functional commercial ware.
Weller's "Roma", a middle period line of creamware produced from the mid-teens through the late 1920's with a vast number of shapes in the Italianate style, was typically accented with floral garlands in pinks, green or reds.
This lovely Weller Roma double bud vase features two squared chambers joined by a ovoid "frame", decorated with leafy florals in green and rose.
Condition is very good, with factory errant glaze spots, and a .25" chip to the underside base edge, which is nearly undetectable in the upright position, free from all other chipping, cracking or restoration, with typical crazing present.
Faintly marked at the base with die-impressed "WELLER".
H 7.75", W 4", base 4.5" x 2.75".
