Anchor Hocking's eternally popular Fire-King range of utilitarian table and cookware seems to have transcended it's humble origins to become one of the most highly sought after collectible glassware lines of the past century.
Produced in the 1970's as companion pieces to Royal China's "Blue Heaven" dinnerware, Anchor Hocking's ovenware line consisted primarily of bowls, casseroles, and pans, as well as their popular 8 oz. mug decorated with the abstract turquoise and gray decal design.
This set of eight 6 oz. dessert or custard cups with scalloped rims is in excellent condition, super clean and unused, with a glossy interior and exterior. All pieces are free from chipping, cracking or discoloration, with typical insignificant manufacturing mold flaws and inclusions.
This line was unmarked, however, 3 cups still retain the original paper labels for the "Royal China" distributor, Mar-crest.
