Antique Victorian Amethyst Brooch-Pendant

Antique nine stone Victorian Amethyst Brooch-Pendant in a proportionate size of 1-3/4 inches. The center largest stone measures 13.5 mm x 11.7 mm. Four corner stones are 4.12 mm x 8.2 mm and the four complement stones measure 4.9 mm x 7.2 mm. These Amethysts are bezel-set in silver as was a traditional and a common setting for Victorian jewelry. This lovely brooch can be worn as either a brooch or pendant. Circa late 1800’s. Condition excellent.
