This is an enchanting antique Victorian 14K yellow gold carved coral cameo pendant necklace with a 14k gold coral cameo clasp. It features a large genuine and natural Mediterranean salmon red coral cameo pendant depicting Dionysus or Bacchus, the Greek and Roman mythological God of wine and fertility, crowned with vines and flowers in high relief. 14 smaller coral cameos depicting Bacchus hang to the links in between and at the end mounted to the 14k yellow gold backed tongue-in-the-groove clasp. In great antique condition. A couple minor chips are observed toward the end in the salmon coral cylinder pieces. It is 18" long. The center coral pendant measures 1-3/8" x 1" and the remaining smaller coral cameos measure 18 mm x 11 mm, 17 mm x 12 mm, 15 mm x 10 mm, 15 mm x 10 mm, 15 mm x 9 mm, 13 mm x 9 mm, 18 mm x 12 mm, 16 mm, x 12 mm, 16 mm x 11 mm, 15 mm x 10 mm, 14 mm x 10 mm, 15 mm x 9 mm, 13 mm x 10 mm and 13 mm x 8 mm (the clasp) respectively. The round matching color natural Mediterranean salmon red coral beads range from 10 mm to 7 mm toward the ends. It weighs a substantial 66.69 grams.
