Gorgeous antique hand painted French opaline glass flower vase with 18th century lady. It features an idyllic and beautifully painted country scene with a lady playing a pan flute. The top and base rims are both edged in gold.
The vase is in wonderful condition with the only flaw being a small "nibble" on the base edge which is only on the base and does not go through to the base rim. It is signed "Lvc" or "Lve" on the front left hand corner. The base is marked with a hand painted number 112.
It measures 12" in height and 2 1/2" in width at the mouth. Lovely piece to show off your Spring blooms!
