This delightful, Arts and Crafts bracelet is made of sterling silver with moonstones. It bears full English hallmarks for the year 1917. The maker’s mark is indistinct but it may be ‘S & Co'.

It is 8” (30.5cms) long so is of generous size. The moonstone cabochons measure 8mms by 5mms. The bracelet weighs 10.4 grams.

The bracelet is set with five , luminous moonstones. Between them are the prettiest, pierced links with a floral motif.

The back is neatly finished and the moonstones are open backed for maximum reflection.

The bracelet closes with a ring clasp. The joining ring is marked with the rather obscure maker’s mark and the English hallmarks – the anchor for the Birmingham assay office, the lion passant for sterling silver and finally the date letter ‘S’ for 1917. There is a safety chain.

This most lovely bracelet is in excellent antique condition and will arrive in a gift box.
