Norwegian Art Deco 'Norne' Silver Enamel Cufflinks

These fabulous, gold washed, sterling silver, enamel, Art Deco cufflinks were made by the celebrated Norwegian silversmith, Aksel Holmsen, using his early mark,’Norne’.They are also inscribed ‘925 S’ with an ‘N’ in a square for Norway.

The cufflinks measure 13/16” ( 2.2cms ) by 7/16” (1.2cms). Together they weigh 11.7 cms.

The tops are enamelled in gleaming black with a gold outlined, white flower motif in the centre. The sides are edged with finely lined gold washed silver

This attractive design is replicated on all four sides of the cufflinks. One side swivels and the other is fixed,.

These cufflinks are in fine vintage condition with all the enamel intact. They show just the slightest signs of age on the gold washed backs.
