This beautiful citrine ring is fully hallmarked for 9 carat gold. It dates to 1968 – so over half a century old.

The bezel set citrine measures 12mms by 9mms. The ring fits a US size 5 and 3/4and a UK size L. It weighs 3.7 grams.

The fabulous, pale gold citrine is delicately faceted and open backed to reflect the light. The setting has a delicately milled edge . The lower edge is finished with a surround of fine gold chain.

The shanks are bifurcated and then joined with a pair of fine lines. The back is plain gold.

The interior bears the maker’s mark ‘REP’ and then the full British Hallmarks. These are ‘9 375’ for 9 carat gold, the anchor for the Birmingham assay office and the date letter ‘T’ for 1968.

In fine, vintage condition, this most lovely and quite unusual ring will arrive in a gift box.
