This lovely Scottish Victorian bangle is made of sterling silver with agates. It bears no hallmarks and I have tested it to be sure. I purchased it as Victorian but I have seen another with hallmarks from the Art Deco era . The geometric design would bear this out.

The bangle measures 2 and 5/8” (5.7cms) across the widest interior space. It fits my 7” wrist snugly so would be better on a slightly smaller wrist, It is 7mms wide all round and weighs 11.7 grams.

The front is set with differently shaped agates. There are roundels of mottled , brown agate with triangles attractively curved on one side. They are in black onyx and red jasper. All around and on either side are delicate engravings. The back is plain silver.

The bangle closes firmly with a push in clasp.

This delightful and very wearable bangle is in excellent condition. It will arrive in a gift box.
