The enamel pendant is set in gold which is unmarked but tests as 14 carat. It has a decorative curlicue at the base and a ring and a bail at the top.
The enamel plaque is an interesting shape, very influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement. On a dark blue background is a pretty lady with long , flowing hair. Her cap and bodice are inset with gleaming foils.
The back is signed ‘Bardonnaud Limoges’.
At lower left the ceramic plaque does not quite meet its gold frame. Otherwise it is in excellent antique condition with intact enamel. This rare and beautiful necklace will arrive carefully presented in a gift box.
