This stunning , 9 carat gold (tested) stick pin is ornamented with pale coral and seed pearls. It comes in its original box. I am dating it to circa 1900.
The pin measures 2 and 13/16” (7cms) long and (11/16”) 1.8cms across the top. It weighs 2.9 grams.
The top of the stick pin takes the form of a lucky horseshoe. It is set alternatively with pale corals and seed pearls. This creates a pretty and delicate effect.
The back is smoothly finished and unmarked. The very sturdy pin has notches in the centre to help it to adhere to fabric.
The stick pin sits on its cream velvet with a holder to keep in firmly in place. The lid is lined with cream padded silk. There are remnants of original gold printing. The box closes with a click. It is covered in emerald green velvet.
This beautiful piece is in excellent antique condition. It will arrive carefully presented and protected.
