A massively thick and substantive bakelite brooch is present here, with tri-lobed art deco streamlined framing elements in brilliant red bakelite with a central plaque of dazzling apple juice bakelite laminated to the red edges, and reverse carved and painted with a magnificent geometricized red floral blossom. Much original paint is present and the result is a glowingly gorgeous and vibrant bakelite rarity. Excellent vintage condition. Pinback is original and functions perfectly.
