1960s Robert Larin Canadian Modernist Brutalist Gold Plated Nickel Silver Link Bracelet. Working in Montreal in the late 60s and 70s, these two men (Robert Larin and his partner Guy Vidal) were pioneers in Brutalist designs working in low grade silver (pewter) and sometimes, gold plating it---designs were very organic as well as space age, but not streamlined and sleek, rather figured and detailed with organically designed pods, antennae, screen work and and matte finishes combined with glossy areas to make the patterning really pop. This bracelet has 7 rectangular panels with a tongue and groove clasp. Each panel is connected to its neighboring panel with goldtone jump O rings. Approximately 1.25' wide with a standard length of 7.5 inches approximately, so it is standard size and fits most womens wrists. It is in Excellent vintage condition.
