1930s Amber Bakelite Balls Citron Cluster Fruit Brooch Pin. A less popular fruit than its lookalike GRAPES, the construction of the fruit in nature sets the tone for the jewelry design. All sorts of varying sizes of amber bakelite balls attached by brass pins attached to o rings in a multitude of jingling jangling articulated citrons all wired onto a swiss cheese back concealed by two gorgeous translucent carved green leaves, incorporating an original and functional pin back hardware. 2" wide by 3" long. A bit of figural bakelite whimsy. Excellent vintage condition.
