1960s Robert Larin Canadian Modernist Brutalist Plated Pewter Hinged Bracelet. Working in Montreal in the late 60s and 70s, these two men were pioneers in Brutalist designs working in low grade silver (pewter) and plating it---designs were very organic as well as space age, but not streamlined and sleek, rather figured and detailed with organically designed pods, antennae, screen work and anodized black color to make the silver plate pop. This bracelet is hinged with a tongue and groove clasp. Approximately 1.2' wide with an approximate inner diameter of 2.5". It opens so it fits most wrists except the largest. Excellent vintage condition. This example has a Larin hallmark.
