These powder boxes are among the most sought after of Noritake designs and Collectibles. These art deco designs are the opposite diametrically to 'busy' grandmotherly designs of many other kinds of porcelain from the era. Stylized, sophisticated clean lined and sought-after! This example has the green m-in-wreath marking, and the rear surface is glazed basic white, while the front is lustrous glimmering blue lusterware with painted detail accomplished by hand painted techniques.
