This pair of warrior sculptures is perfect for a book shelf or mantle. The sculptures depict a pair of warriors holding pikes in 17th century dress. These kind of warriors would often stand guard outside a castle or town gate, or fight with a king or noble. The sculptures are made of spelter with a bronzed patina. They sit on stepped black marble clad bases, with small pink marble insets. The condition of these is good: there is some missing bronzing the the base of the sculptures and one pike may be at a slight angle. The marble bases are in remarkably good shape.
