This ingenious Chinese table is quite a piece: the top is inlaid with mother of pearl as well as hard stone figures on horses that are in relief. The legs of this piece are foldable in a clever way: there is a set of red frames hat can be folded out, so that the legs can be folded under the frames and then secured. This way the panel can be used as a decoration, or it can be used as a table. The workmanship of the inlays and raised stone figures is very detailed and intact. There are no missing pieces I have noticed. The table does have some signs of age: there are some minor scuffs and chips to the edges and there is no glass. The bottom has a label that has some Chinese writing and the words Tianjin, China, which is obviously the place it was made.
Measurements are: 40" by 19 3/4" and 17 1/4" tall.
