This antique Sterling silver berry spoon dates to about 1905 and is hall marked with the French Minerva mark. The makers mark for Roger Arsene is also present as well as a mark on the bowl that I could not identify. The spoon has a very intricate engraved design on the handle and is reticulated with very decorative openings. The spoon is shaped in the form of a small basket to spoon the berries out of a bowl with possibly liquid. The condition is very good with just some very minor tarnish residue under the rim in the back.
Measurements are: 8” long, bowl is 2 ¼” by 2 7/8”. Overall weight is 1.51 oz or 42.7 grams
