This set of candelabra dates to the first half of the 20th century and is done in the popular GE ware style of pottery. The bases are a sculpted bronze with pottery parts in between. The pottery parts are in the GE ware style.
GE ware is a grayish white stoneware glaze with an intentionally closely crackled glaze, probably stemming from the Zhejiang province in the 13-15th century. Copied ever after and particularly popular in the early 20th century, then often in combination with brown unglazed molded or incised borders or applications. The candle sticks are in very good condition with no damage.
Measurements are: 5 ½” by 5 ½” and 16” tall.
