This set of antique French drapery rod holders has several possibilities: it can hold a single rod through the half round holders with a screw for anchor, or it can hold a rod and a bar, as there is plenty room behind to mount another bar. This will allow for a drapery and a valence or double draperies. The pieces are gilded and the gilding is still bright and lustrous. These date to the end of the 19th century. There are holes in the top and bottom to mount the pieces to the wall. The screws are not present.
These are big and sturdy: each measures 9” for the back mounting panel, 8” coming out, 3” wide and the front wreath is 14” above the base of the back panel.
