This is a good but much used example of an early French enamel ware chocolate pot. The piece has lovely pink and blue flowers painted on the side and lid. The piece is from the late 1800’s and has the typical enamel loss, rust and has had a repair to the hinge that holds the lid to the pot. This makes for a lot of wiggle room for the lid. The wooden handle also has some play. It is still functional, although these days these pieces are mostly displayed, not used. The price reflects the condition, this piece is sold as is. Measurements are: 9” tall, bottom diameter is 5”.
