Perfect for a wedding feast or any other fancy event, this silver on copper dish can hold fruit salad, fruit, biscuits or even a small mountain of foil covered bonbons. The piece is made of thick copper, covered with generous silver plating. The rim has scrolls and flowers as a motif, and there are four elegant legs. The piece is marked on the bottom: Sheridan and silver on copper, as well as the Sheffield hallmarks. The spoon is an elegant piece also with a flower motif and marked Rogers and has an owl hallmark.
Condition is good, with as only flaw some scratches on the bottom of the bowl from use. No loss of plating.
Measurements are: bowl: 14” x 10” x 4”, serving spoon: 9 ½” long and
3” x 2 ¾”.
