This print with hand colored watercolor and gouache accents depicts a street scene in Paris sometime around the 1920s. People are gathered around a kiosk perhaps buying some matches, cigarettes or a tram ticket. There is a lot of coloration in this work; grays, blues, greens and pink and the muted tones all blend well together. This type of scene was typical for this artist to capture. The piece has the number 63 in pencil on the very bottom, somehow the edition size seems absent or cut off.
The sight size of the work is 10” by 12” and 16” by 16” in the acid-free mount. The work is in very good condition. There is some very slight toning on the lower left margin.
