This beautiful egg coddler is just in time for Easter. You can make the egg in it and serve it right up to the table in this pretty piece. The way to coddle an egg is to butter the inside of the cup and break in an egg. You then submerse it in boiling water with the top on it and after a few minutes you have a nice "coddled" egg (also known as poached).
The coddler is in near mint condition, with the box and instructions. The box is slightly faded with time. No other defects. This is the large coddler: height is 41/2" to the top of the ring and diameter is 21/2".
