This book on small arms is one of those gems that surface from history. The war office issued it almost one hundred years ago. It gives a glimpse into the past and, especially for trained veterans, gives an idea of how far we have come in using weapons. There are 27 black and white plates and a lot of general and specific instructions. Just a neat piece of history for the arms buff.
The book measures 53/4" by 41/2" and is ½" thick. It is in good condition with the following flaws: slight bumping on the corners and spine, the binding is starting to get loose in a couple of places. There is an inscription on the fly page and 2 letters on the following page. No odor or stains.
