This book, written in the dialect of the Ozark Hills is a story about life in the Ozark hills in the depression era. It is a description of a life that we may no longer see today. The book is very well illustrated by illustrator Raymond Bishop who also illustrated Moby Dick. He has done very striking woodcuts that illustrate in bold and vivid ways the story of the book. The book is a first edition. Condition is good, with some bumping of the spine. Otherwise book is tight and clean with no stains or odor.
