Here is a spooky looking 19th Century woolly black poodle with long ears, felt tongue, huge gold glass eyes and wire framed body. The dog is stiff like the Amish & Moravian animals. He is wood shaving stuffed. He is 11" long from nose to tail and 9" tall. He is made from what appears to be old coating fabric. He resembles poodles from the 1893 Steiff line. I believe he is a Pennsylvania made toy based on a Steiff model. He What ever he is he is old and has a quirky primitive appeal.
