The doll has lovely pale bisque delicate painting and modeling. The doll has brown paper weight eyes, pale rose closed mouth with darker rose accents, molded tongue tip and pierced ears. I note Bisque has a black pepper speck on right side and a little red line there also; Left ear has a little mold line. Bisque is fine pale and free of chips or hairlines. Head is impressed F. 8 G. on back of rim. Doll has original cork pate, neck spring and hand tied blond mohair wig. on net cap. Doll is on correct original body with repainting of arms and hands and touch ups at the shoulder. Body has large balls at joints and straight wrists. The doll is dressed. in what appears to be her original green silk factory dress. The dress is 2 pieces. Blouse has lace yoke is lined. Sleeves have shatters but still shows well. Shirt has attached petticoat and is lined. It is in good condition for age. The dress is quite beautiful even though it has some issues. Doll has a period ivory silk bonnet that is intact with age toning, She has lace trimmed linen slip and pantaloons, faded green stockings and brown leather Keystone boots. Boots have some missing buttons. The doll is a fine example of a desirable early Bebe in original dress. She is very beautiful. There are multiple views of doll and costume for your examination.
