Here is a 17" Unis France 301 doll with pre-teen body original nailed wig and pate and wonderful 1930's wardrobe and accessories. There is a loose silk label which reads "Bebe Galeries Lafayette" that came off of one of the costumes. There are 9 dresses, a robe, linen night gown, short brown tweed coat, long blue silk coat, silk cape or wrap, 5 pairs of shoes, hair bows and bands, suede leather gloves, 1 pair of under pants 1 pair of socks and silk parasol that has shattered fabric. There are 3 wood and wire garment hangers of 5 metal ones. Galeries Lafayette is a Paris Department store and fashion institution that was established about 1893 . It originally sold ladies fashions but added menswear, furniture, toys and dolls in the 1920's.. There are multiple views to show he wardrobe. A few items are not pictured. Most of the clothing is in very good condition. I note: 1. the silk on the parasol is shattered. The frame is intact. The handle shaft is varnished wood with brass ring and butterscotch bakelite crook.. It still has lovely long fringe around the edges. 2. The green edges of sleeves on the dress shown on the left side of 5th picture has wear. 3.The under sleeves of the short blue silk school dress have melted . Every thing else is sturdy and intact. Doll has no chips or hairlines to the head. Body has original finish with wear on the upper arms as shown. Hands are intact. This doll and wardrobe offers a glimpse of 1930's glamour.
