Here is a 13" Kestner poured bisque head doll marked only "8" on the back of her head. The doll has an endearing child like round face with molded fat roll on the neck back.She has fine pale bisque, beautiful threaded blown blue glass sleep eyes with original lid finish and mounts, fine short black painted upper and lower lashes, feather brown brows, delicately blush cheeks, well molded ears and double chin.She has a pretty rose painted closed mouth with white space between her lips. Bisque is free of rubs, chips or hairlines. She is on her original chunky child body with large loose balls, straight wrists, cupped mitt hands and good finish. Hands are intact with no broken fingers. Feet are nicely molded and intact. The body is in overall good condition as shown. The doll has a blond human hair wig on sturdy cap with center part and long braids. The wig looks to be original. She has antique one piece camisole pantaloons, linen petticoat and Victorian flounced lawn dress. The dress has separated under the right arm hole and needs stitches There is a tear in the back flounce also. The dress shows well and is very pretty. She has antique blue knit stocking and old ivory oil cloth shoes. She is a darling cabinet size Kestner child.
