This handsome pair of 19th century high top shoes have flat leather soles saddle kid leather uppers and black kid toes, tongues and heel pieces. The shoes have no left or right side.. They have double stitching on the front foot piece and 4 sets of metal grommets for ties. The shoes are lined with white linen. The shoes are 4" long, 1.75" across the foot and 1 & 3/8" across the heel. They have their original ties. The leather is in good condition on the shoe uppers. The sole is worn through at the toe on one shoe. The shoes have no size or maker markings and appear to be cobbler made.
