Here is a scarcer Staffordshire dog related spill vase figure with a brown and white Newfoundland dog pulling a drowning child from the sea. The spill vase is 7.5" tall, 5"across and 2.5" front to back. Vase is in form of a tree trunk. Figure is decorated with "moss" and gold striping . Dog has paint wear in places as shown. Spill lip has rim roughness in back. I see no chips, cracks or hairlines. A not often found American dog breed portrayed in a Staffordshire figure.
