Here are two forged iron 18th Century fire place cooking utensils. The meat fork is 18" long with nicely formed handle that curves under at the end to hang on a rack. The spatula is 17" long and has a similar turned under handle end. Both pieces were used for centuries and wear their age gracefully. The pieces were made in Pennsylvania or NJ. Neither have makers marks or decoration. Both are well made with pleasing form.
