Here is a still lovely but frail 19th Century Ecru linen fashion dress with ruched /pleated hem, pleated skirt details front panel and long train in back. Pleats are bound on both edges with moss green ribbon. Same ribbon edges neck and belt. Ecru lace edges sleeves and neckline. The dress is still useable but has age toning, spots and loss. It is lined with linen through the bodice.. It opens down the back and closes with 4 old brass hooks and loops. It has a self belt attached at the waist and is meant to be pinned closed. The dress is 14" long in front, 18" long in back, 3.5" shoulder to shoulder, 6" around waist, 3.5" around the arm pits, 3.5" around wrists and 4.5" sleeve length. It is shown on a 16" doll and is a about 1/4" too small through the chest area. Do not buy if you want a perfect new looking dress. I like it's look but it's not for every one. Must be handled with care. Could use reinforcement in back area of thread loss. Please look at pictures carefully to judge condition and measure your doll carefully.
