Offering a hard to find World War I era patriotic purse that references Camp Cody, am army camp in Deming, New Mexico. Named for William F. Cody who promoted the Wild West show. The camp was established in 1917 and during the war served as a tent city of Federal National Guard troops.
This patriotic bag is offered in very good antique condition with some fraying to the handpainted silk, mostly near the drawstring area.
