This book is the work of a former director of Museum shops for the Smithsonian Institution and the Brooklyn Museum. The photography is by H. Landshoff whose photographs have received great critic acclaim. The heavy volume includes 343 pages, almost 200 of which are photographs of dolls from various cultures and eras. It is full of history of Jumeau, Bru, Steiner, Huret, Rohmer and even handmade cornhusk figures. The condition is excellent, like new with only a small amount of wear to the cover sleeve. This book is over 1-1/2 inches thick and is oversized. This is one of the finest doll books ever written and you will find it to be a treasured part of your doll library.
