We have this beautiful antique piece of doll size wood furniture that I have used as a dressing table-mirror with an antique French Fashion doll and could be used with any other lady doll, such as a parian, wax, china, etc. The piece is well made and has a beveled mirror above a table that has a drawer and arch-shaped legs. The top of the mirror has hand-carved designs, possibly flowers. The table itself is 7 inches tall and the mirror is 18 inches, including the carved piece at the top. The total height is 25 inches. The width of the piece is 12 inches and if a doll is seated in a chair or on a stool in front of the mirror, the doll could come up to about 16-18 inches to look proportioned correctly. There is an old silver metal pull on the front of the drawer. This is a nice heavy piece in dark mahogany (I think) with extra special woodwork and molding. Imagine her accessories (comb, brush, fan, perfume bottle, etc.) displayed on the dressing table and perhaps a small lamp and/or maybe an old framed photo. This could be an interesting display in your doll cabinet or at a doll show or other event by vendors.
Condition: There is some wear on the wood in the corners and a few areas along the edges but it gives character and the piece is still in good sturdy condition. The mirror has a small area of black spotting (commonly found on old mirrors) in the top left-hand corner.
