This French Papier-mache Lady with glass eyes and braided human hair over a painted black pate has what it takes to bring dignity and grace to your collection. She is a sweet lady in nice cabinet size of 14 inches. Her shoulder head has no obvious craze lines and no repair. The original pink blown kid body is firmly packed and has no patches. She has a closed mouth and set-in black glass eyes. Her replacement clothing is appropriately styled for the period 1835-1850 and made with antique cotton with lace and narrow ribbon trim. Seldom do you find these early dolls in this excellent condition.
