We are pleased to get these older dolls with originality! This lady is a papier mache Milliner's Model from the 1820's to the 1860's and she is completely original down to her red paper garters. She has the side curls with the bun on the back of her head hairstyle. She has the long wooden legs and arms and her upper arms and upper legs and torso are leather. She has molded and painted red flat shoes with long pointed toes. Her features are painted and her eyes are blue. I see no touchups to her paint and she has faint crazing with one heavier craze line on the back of her shoulder plate. All of her fingers are present. She is wearing her original clothes (dress, slip and long pantaloons) that have turned darker and have some age spots but are basically in good condition for the age.
