This gorgeous figurine was recently brought to my attention by an antique dealer in a mall filled with treasures from the past. I was impressed instantly when I saw her blonde wind-blown curls emerging from beneath the blue head scarf and her deeply molded and delicately drawn features. She seems to be pleased with her garden yield as evidenced by the slight smile on her face. She is holding her apron in a cradle position to ensure a safe walk home with the fruits of her labor. Her apron is adorned with tiny outlined flowers with beading and gold luster highlighting. Her feet are well formed and her nails are modeled on both her hands and her feet. She has roses at her feet and she is standing on rocks and leaning against a tree trunk. This is a high quality piece for the collector of all bisque figurines.
