Rare early glass eyed French poupee with beautiful luminous complexion enhanced by delicately tinted blush, original signed body.
Porcelain pink-tinted shoulder head with very plump rounded face, large blue glass enamel inset eyes enhanced by dark eyeliner, painted lashes, arched brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with primly-set lips, unpierced ears, blond mohair wig, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees, kid-over-wooden upper arms, porcelain arms to above the elbows. Especially beautiful early doll with original body and porcelain arms, wonderful antique multi-layered costume with shite muslin blouse and blue gauze enfantine dress with lace edging, original ruffled bonnet, undergarments, socks and antique leather boots.
Marks: BREVETE S.G.D.G. (green body stamp).
