This is an absolutely lovely blue glass and diamond navette ring is from the Georgian Period. This ring is comprised of 14k yellow gold (tested not marked) and silver with 3 rose cut diamonds...... The top of the ring measures 1” in length x1/2” in width. The BACK of the ring presents a beautiful swirling FLOWER MOTIF, Such wonderful craftsmanship in Georgian times!! This ring is in wonderful condition especially considering it's age. The blue glass is intact without chips. This ring is a US size 8 and 1/4.
This stunning Georgian ring dates Circa. 1800 and displays pristine early 19th century high quality craftsmanship as I mentioned the lovely back of the ring!!!..... The ring features a display of 3 Old ROSE CUT DIAMONDS set on Deep Midnight Blue glass and when candle light hit the glass.... flashes of Royal Blue would have danced to the candle light on top of this Gorgeous Georgian ring!!! These type of rings were meant to resemble the dark midnight sky and the diamonds represented the twinkling stars!!!!
