A pair of green mercury glass spheres of large size - each measuring approximately 12" in diameter. These date from the early 20th c. and are in excellent condition. Each has a stem or neck that was attached to the glass blower's pipe rod. This stem is sealed with wax to prevent oxidation to the mercury coating the inside of each sphere. These often are used inside cast iron urns when not planted or in bird baths. They are beautiful used inside or out.
