Antique early 20th century paint decorated carved wood apple box with a child's steeplechase horse race game inside. Beautiful bright color. Measures 4 1/2" tall x 4 1/8" diameter. These apples were made in Asia for the American market in several sizes - this is the largest. This apple is highly decorative and has a pleasing original surface. Good condition.
