Antique 19th century roof ornament in the form of a large stylized owl. Measures 24" tall x 12" across the chest. Wonderful old surface / patina. Owl statues were often used atop buildings and in the garden to discourage mice and squirrels from taking up residence. Displays beautifully inside or out. Good condition.
